Julia’s Snake pit is the true story about the consequences of undesirable behavior and unethical behavior in the workplace. Because Henriëtte herself has experienced the impact of undesirable behavior (herself and the organization) down to her capillaries she decided at the time to do something about it.
For many years Henriette Wijnen enjoyed being the manager of a municipal organization. Until in the fall of 2011 the intimidation and bullying started from the higher management. It was the start of a negative turnaround within the organization that resulted in a culture of fear and, after a long struggle for justice and a safe workplace, eventually led to dismissal.
